[Stand Up - B4m Grae Karim]

Yeah umm ok, review time.

Straight off the bat I love pretty much anything you make B4. I think your a awesome producer and I really dig your style. That being said I think this was a weaker song compared to some of your others.

The vocals, god I did not like them. Out of tune, timing was bad, the lyrics were beyond stupid and being honest his voice does not suit singing or rapping I think. But thats not you, thats the singers problem.

Production wise is was really tight. The beat was awesome and sat really well in the mix. Everything sounded nice and clean, lovely warm mid range on this song.
So I guess I've more of a issue with the vocals, but I can't give this song higher then a 3.5 in my opinion, the vocals really spoiled it for me.

Still though, awesome production B4, you did really well :D

I will be putting up another version with SJD's (Poniboii) vocals on each verse this week to see which version people prefer. Voices are still raw as I want to master the best version. I agree with the timing issues but I think you will find SJD's verses on time and more indepth. Karim does parody's usually and you can see this side of him in the verses. Could make for a funny video :)

Let me know what you think of the Poniboii's version next week!

I really enjoyed this, nice feel to it.
The guitars are very cool, would definitely work as a passive tune in the back while you are walking around a town or hub area.

I think its hilariously cool you used Miku as the vocals for this, and to be honest I really enjoyed how it worked.
The song is cool, love the beat and the rising synths. The vocals sit really well, I really enjoyed this.

I think the mix is a bit rough and could use some work but for sure its in the right direction.

Ok, I'll give it a shot :D

00:00 - 00:22, nice intro, works well but the drum drop at 22s is a bit weak.
00:42 - 00:56, its a cool little breakdown. I think the kick is too fat in the lowend, maybe scoop out the low a bit with some EQ, it sounds like its clipping on my end. Regardless the drums are nice and well structure, but I do think the EQ is a bit harsh.
The song is cool, and laid out well but the mix is a bit of a mess (Sorry). Theres loads of lows and mids and I'm definitely hearing some clipping at various points.
2:20 - Onwards. This part is cool, I like the introduction of new synths and a new pattern with a fresh melody, keeps things interesting. Again, mixing issues but its cool.
All in all its a cool tune laid out very well, as I've said there are some mixing issues but nothing you can't improve on and kick ass later on with! :D

thanks, will look into EQ, this sort of music is new to me really and I have no previous experience when it comes to mixing, usually someone else does it for me, but I will start learning, thanks for the tips :)
