Thanks a lot! Very happy you like my stuff.
Its cool, or at least the idea is cool.
Softer kicks would be nice to hear in the mix, but the melody is pretty catchy.
What programme do you use to make music?
Its a nice song, obviously could use improvement in the drum department, and maybe a better mix.
Perhaps go over the synths with a EQ filter just to remove the harsh high frequencies would be my only advice.
Deserves a high 3.5 rating, dunno why its rated 3.13, I'll bump her up ;)
Be sure to check out my latest track mate.
Cheers and Good Luck!
Thanks! I use FL Studio... Would you suggest anything else? I tried using Reason... but it didnt really stick... I dont have a midi controller, and making songs with the piano-roll (or the reason equivalent... not quite sure what it's called there) is much more difficult than in FL... :P
Yeah... Hey, thanks for your vote and even more for your comment! :D
Its good, but needs a wee mix.
The synths are a bit soft in the back, let those babys shine!
The bass could be thicker, perhaps slap a low EQ on it and boost that baby, or distort them a wee bit more.
But yeah its cool, not a massive fan of the voice sample that says "Your so cultural" but thats just me.
Anyway, nice one! ^.^

Still in pre-mix form, should sound better when mastered!
00:49 is my favorite part, when that lovely synth comes in.
I like this track, its got a good flow. Some criticism however, because nothing is ever perfect ;)
That kick needs to shine a bit more, its very buried down in the mix. Consider slapping a EQ on it and just boosting the low end some more.
The claps are too sharp in my opinion, maybe just take a tad off the top end.
But yeah, overall its cool, I like it.
Good job ^.^

Thank you very much, kind sir. Yes, I've gotten many comments on that kick also xD maybe it's about time I change it LOL for next version. Claps are very sharp, I agree. you don't notice it very much when the track gets noisy though :3 I will see what it sounds like with some cutoff though.
Thanks so much! I'll be sure to check out your work.
Hmm, all the elements of a good song are there, just not fully developed yet.
For starters this song is ridiculously compressed, everything sounds muffled and pushed back, so the quality is poor. When you start a nice melodic run you stop it suddenly, your phrases aren't long enough. The wobbles need some work, but they have good bass, just they are a bit harsh.
All in all its alright, but theres a lot of room for improvement.
Fix the compression issue so the song isn't so dull sounding.
EQ the synths better so they pop out more.
The drums could come up in the mix and again undergo a EQ, brings the lows out.
I'm going to give it a 2.5/5, because its half way there in my opinion.
Thanks man! i'll have that in mind next time!
Was grumbling to myself that I'm only number 2 in the popular audio tab (and another song like 7th) and thought, "Well this one song thats ahead of me better be awesome".
Damn son...it is ^.^
Good job mate, loved it! 5/5.
Thanks, I didn't expect it to be appreciated so much. Seems NG likes the relaxing tunes :D Keep on downloading and enjoying it everybody!
Hmm.
Being Irish and living in Ireland I just want to see this isn't akin to any style to Irish music. Don't take that as a bad thing...
I love this song, its lovely...but...
Its not Irish?
I think you might want to reconsider what country you chose, this fits more for like New Zealand or somewhere along those lines, but Ireland? Not seeing it.
Irish music is very upbeat and traditionally uses native Irish instruments.
As far as RAC7 goes, I'm giving this a 2/5 because it doesn't represent Ireland.
As far as this goes as a piece of its own 4.5/5, its so beautiful and fantastic.
Sorry but, thats my opinion =L
My piece was more about the spirit and emotion of Irish music than the melodic figures and motifs. Although it's not traditional Irish music, it is, at least in my opinion, based on the sorts of ideas that such a piece would be based on with the added effect of a full orchestra.
